Abstract:
A number of service protocols were suggested for the HAN and are widely deployed. However these protocols are typically limited to a single household, which limits the realisation of the full potential of the HAN for full service interoperability through sharing devices and services with friends and family in remote HANs. This paper presents the Krox architecture, design, and evaluation for enabling secure and performant sharing of HAN services across multiple service protocols with a small number of remote HANs.
